Heartbreak Hotel 1 is an oil on canvas painting measuring 27.16x19.68 inches. It is the first painting of a series titled like the famous Elvis Presley song. Each painting, a broken-hearted woman. This first painting's model was studied en plein air while the painting was finished in studio. I am basically a photorealistic painter but as concerns this series, I focused most on a conceptual painting in order to give priority to the emotional impact rather than the perfection of the detail.
