Sivilla

Sivilla is an acrylic on canvas photorealistic painting. Study was done en plein air while the painting was accomplished in studio. It is the portrait of the beloved wife of a client who wanted to keep an everlasting souvenir of her as she was sick and had no much time left to live. He asked me to focus on her eyes and cried when the portrait was finished. That was a very moving and touching moment.
