Painted in transparent watercolors on 140lb cold-pressed Arches paper. 'Rodeo Red' depicts a cowgirl and her steed waiting for their turn to go barrel racing at the Payson Annual Rodeo in 2020. Most horses are 6 feet long, so social distancing is easy when you ride! Certainly my best painting of 2021 so far.
