Oil on a gesso aluminum. I saw this vehicle in someone's yard on a Gulf cart ride around Nyona Lake and South Mud Lake in Macy IN. We believe it to be a Commander Starliner, 1953 that has lost its star hood orinament and now shows some paint damage. It was fun to capture its historic charm in its present setting. At this point my husband wants to keep the painting.
