Put Out To Pasture

Scouting one day for a Plein Air motif I found myself on a country road and came upon this vintage tractor with all sorts of dried hay around and up inside it. Behind it I saw a newish 4 wheeler and was struck by the imagery, out with the old, in with the new! It spoke to me! My eye immediately went to the bunch of dead dry grass near the big tractor tire and also the highlights on that tire and I wanted to convey that in this painting! Also, the dry dead grasses growing up inside by the steering wheel! ALSO the sun red/rust color!!! I loved it all!!!
