Tea time in the Garden

“Tea-time in the Garden”is a recent and delightful watercolour on paper of a tea-time spread set on our garden table a little before sundown. I enjoyed capturing the flower vase against the sunlight and the play of light and shade on the crockery, as the gold of the setting sun filtered in below a canopy, a corner of which is shown. Wet-in wet technique is amply used along with swift brushwork and detailing.
