“ Off to School,” is inspired by a cold wintry day in Kashmir with kids in their Pherans trudging to school. The medium is watercolour on paper. I painted it from a picture clicked by my husband when he was posted in Anantnag district of the Kashmir Valley. The high point of painting this was to capture the reflections of the bare trees in the tranquil lake alongside the snowfield and all the snow!
