Never Sleeps

This is an oil painting. It was done with the help of a mix of photos, imagination and writing (I often start my work with a poem). I was drawn to the mood of night, the bright lights in the darkness, where all this folks are driving to, to their homes, friends, lovers, jobs or just to get out aimlessly. There is such a surreal feeling to it, mysterious and amazingly peaceful at the same time.
