This oil painting is an homage to my grandfather who loved the arts, was a wonderful caring person and started me unknowingly I think on the amazing journey of a painter. And he loved the spot that I painted. This piece came out of a quick study on Ile St Louis in Paris, a few photos, very dear memories and gratefulness.
